CitizensNYC makes direct cash grants for neighborhood-led projects, and neighborhood businesses that improve the quality of life in New York City. We are providing $1 million in grants to New Yorkers on the front lines of rebuilding our city.
Our 2023 All In Neighborhood Grant and Neighborhood Business Grant applications are now open.
Have an idea to bring together your community and improve your neighborhood with $3,000? Our All In Neighborhood Grant supports projects ranging from block clean-ups, community gardens to STEM training for youth, chair yoga for seniors and many more. You know what your community needs, and we want to hear your ideas!
Grants up to $10,000 will fill gaps in funding by prioritizing businesses owned by people of color, immigrants, and women.
While small businesses have kept their doors open, there is a significant need for assistance to fund business continuity. This period of recovery is a pivotal point to keep going.
We understand that businesses are essential in the fabric of communities. We look for businesses that frame the way they give back to the community they serve. We make grants to barber shops, restaurants, food carts, vegetable stands, eCommerce and other small businesses.
Unlike many financial opportunities currently available to small businesses, this program will provide grants rather than loans.
