For more than four decades, the Hollis Avenue Senior Buddy System has been an innovative leader in aging services and volunteerism, alleviating social isolation and providing concrete services to older adults in the Queens Village and Hollis communities.

The program focuses on intergenerational connections, ensuring seniors have access to the resources they need to age with dignity, independence, and grace. Volunteers of all ages work alongside professionals to serve the wider community in a mutually beneficial partnership.

Vision: To be an innovative leader in mobilizing volunteers of all ages to improve the lives and health of the elderly.
